    Relevant Experience – District Manager Experience with 3.5 years in Convenience Stores

    • 2 years as an Area Manager for leading short-term lending company.  Management of 13 locations.
    • 3.5 years as a District Manager with top-flight C-store chain (750+ units).  Up to 12 convenience stores, 2 QSR’s, 3 car washes and check cashing facilities.
    • 3.5 years as a District Manager for ‘quick lube’ company.  Management of 11 automotive service centers.

    Noteworthy Accomplishments

    • Exceeded profit budget by 10% in 2012 and 50% in 2011.
    • Efficiencies and management abilities enabled the addition of 5 stores to territory, eliminating one area manager position.  Drastically reduced payroll and expenses for the company.
    • Annual performance reviews rated as “Exceeds” 2 out of 3 years with leading C-store chain – only awarded to the top 10% of DM’s.
    • Earned Top Profit Performer award for the C-store company’s Western Division.
    • Greatly improved sales while reducing food costs and payroll via training and granting C-store GM’s authority over the QSR’s.

    Special Contributions

    • Track record of training and promoting site GM’s for the purpose of succession into DM roles – multiple successes.
    • Creates flexible work teams and works in conjunction with other DM’s to facilitate employee ‘transfers’ during periods of staffing challenges.
    • Devised a system to quickly identify internal beer theft and the personnel responsible.  The system was shared with other districts in the Region.
