    Relevant Experience – 25 Years C-Store & Hospitality Industry

    • 10 Years: Region Manager  (Marketing & Operations) – 2 Major Southeast and East Coast Chains
    • 12 Years: Hospitality Operations in Product Initiatives, Testing, Purchasing, Launching, and Multi-Unit Management – KFC
    • 3+ Years: Director of Retail Operations for Travel Center chain.

    Noteworthy Accomplishments

    • Primary marketing and vendor contact for new product concepts for an entire c-store chain of several hundred locations.
    • Development of and marketing for chain’s new fountain program. This included artwork, design, and marketing for the new concept’s logo and imagery for 1,500+ sites, contributing 15% GP increase average per site.
    • Conducted all quarterly marketing program, pricing and rebate negotiations with all beer, wine and beverage vendors. Quarterly and annual marketing plans developed during these negotiations.
    • Effectively led a group of c-stores to the single largest sales increase per district at 26.65% and per Division at 18.67% while dropping shrink levels from 2.75% to 1.20%.
    • Developed and initiated a Regional Training criteria (basic store operations, accounting, reporting, back office systems, marketing and planning) specific to the company.


    Special Contributions

    • Completely revamped the fountain and food-service areas to make it more appealing and profitable.  Also, introduced numerous new product offerings.
    • Successfully demonstrated abilities to initiate, lead and manage multiple projects
    • Outstanding achievement in the areas of sales growth, GP enhancement, and expense control.
    • Effectively led a group of 114 CO-OP c-stores utilizing 9 District Managers.
    • Experienced in real estate and site selection process and negotiations.

    • Solid understanding of both Retail Operations, Budgeting, Planning, and Marketing with excellent communication and presentation skills within all management levels
